TEST CRICKET COMES TO CANBERRA

Updated: Dec 22, 2019

On the 1st of February Test cricket makes it way to Manuka oval for the first time when Australia takes on Sri Lanka in the Domain Test series.

Australia will be looking to get back to the winners circle after losing to India 2-1, India’s first ever Test series win in Australia. Sri Lanka will be looking to rebound after losing to New Zealand 1-0, with one match being drawn in their tour of New Zealand.

Manuka oval has seen it’s fair share of cricketing stars grace it’s pitch over the years with PM’s XI and Big Bash games but there is genuine excitement for the Test match. During the Test local cricket will be put on hold so that no one misses out and giving the test match the potential to be a sell out.
