Dane Haylett-Petty scored a double while David Pocock also starred in the victory.
VIKINGS FALL SHORT AGAINST FIJI
Much like the Wallabies, the Canberra Vikings had to come from behind against Fijian Drua but ultimately they came short losing 40-35 , their second loss for the season. The Vikings were the first to get off the mark with a try to number 13 Len Ikitau, however capitalised on missed tackles and handling errors to race out to a 33-7 lead before Jordan Jackson-Hope scored for the Vikings just before half-time. Another try to Jackson-Hope just after the break kick-started the Vikings revival as tries to scrum half Joe Powell and replacement prop Max Bode saw them take the lead. The lead wouldn’t last long however as Drua were able to score the match winner through winger Levani Kurumudu.
